my epilepsy

is it possible that the cavernous hemangeoma tumors that were removed when i was a child would have gone away on their own?and do i now have epilepsy because of the surgeries?

Hello there,
I'm sorry I can't really answer your question regarding your cavernous hemangeoma tumors, but it is possible that you have epilepsy as a result of surgery to remove the tumors.  I have repeatedly read that people who undergo a resection for brain tumors can develop epilepsy as a result of the surgery, unfortunately.  It can also be the other way around, where refractory epilepsy is initiated by a brain tumor (happened to me that way).
