Hi. I am wondering what would cause partial seizures to recur 9 years after right temporal lobectomy and right amygdalohippocampectomy. I had the surgery because I had a low grade astrocytoma. I have been seizure free since the surgery, but every time since my surgery the report says "enhancement on post operative bed likely due to mild gliosis". I am just wondering what that means, and why I would have seizures after so long. I have since had 3 babies all by csection because of severe Pregnancy induced hypertension. Other than that, I have been healthy. I have some psychiatric problems that they associate with losing the amygdala.Thanks.
