seziures

hi, i recently had an idiotpathic seizure in the early hours on sunday morning, after a night out, i was admitted to hospital and i have had a ct scan, then discharged and referred to out patients neurologist, i had a total of 4 fits, in A+E but none since, do you think this could be due to alcohol (although i didnt drink as much as normal), or could it be as simple of that i havent being getting enough sleep and due to working shifts (i am a student paramedic) and study that i might have just being exhausted, also how long does it normally take in england for a outpatients neurologist appointment

well, its idiopathic so the cause is still unknown.. your drinking habits and sleeping pattern may account for what caused it but still its unknown unless you do more tests.
