should i try vns theoropy?

should i try vns theoropy?

I am 20yrs old and about five months ago i started have syncope episodes. when i first started fainting, i would have a warning. normally i would get hot, then my ears would ring, and then i would faint. after the first 3 months, the warnings stopped to where i would feel perfectly normal and then just faint. it's always when i'm standing, and occurs mostly when i'm going up or down stairs. i've been seeing several specialist and they dont really have any answers on why it's happening. they thought at first it was because i have hypotension tachycardia, low blood pressure and fast heart rate, but after taking medications it still kept happening, to where i was fainting at least twice a week, and most of the time hurt my self pretty bad. they did several test for the heart including an ep study and all came up -. after my doctors talked to other specialist from out of state, they dicided to put a pacemaker in. since i had the pacemaker, i've now had two episodes in 3 weeks. they said the pace maker had recordings, but not around the times that i fainted. they changed the pacemaker setting one last time, and they said if i continue to faint they want to try vns, which i guess is a pacemaker for the brain. they dont think its epilepsy but they said they cant rule it out. i had 5 eeg's and all were -. one of them being a 72 video eeg in the hospital and another being a 24hr abulatory eeg at home. i do get migrains but it runs through my moms side of the family, no one else has fainting episodes or seizures. I have migrains about once a week and i've been  taking medication for it. i take topamax and imitrax. my question is, if the pacemaker dont work, should i try the vns theorepy? or is there anythng else i can do? i really want this fainting to stop and i'm willing to try anything, but if theres any other way around surgery i am more willing to do that. i'm already going to have a scar from the pacemaker but i really dont want anyone cutting into my neck. please any suggestions is appreciated.
