sleep terrors/poor sleep

My child has Doose syndrome.  He is on Keppra very low dose which we are weaning as altho it seems to control nocturnal sz's it has aggravated his perseverative behaviours and defiance.  He is tenex for attention which he tolerates well and seems to helps somewhat with his attention.  Melatonin and remeron have been suggested to help him sleep.  he seems to have night terrors and does not sleep well / is restless.    He also only sleeps for about8 hours at the most.  Any thoughts?

My son has seizures ,and he has night time seizures and since his medicine changes have been change and one of the medicines he is on happens to be Keppra my son takes 1000mg in the morning and 1500 hundred in the evenings ,and doctor said to me at one time she thou we should up it and I said no.

my son sleeps more now during the day and wakes up in the middle of the night,the doctor said she didn't think it was any of his medicines,But I do and plan on asking the doctor about how I go about taking him off this medicines.I do know that one of his other seizure medicine makes him sleepy during the day zarotin,but last time we tried to take him off it he had more seizures.But my son had the VNS  surgery June 24th and they turned it on july 7th and it is wait and see if that helps.

my son has also been covering his head a lot with pillow and blankets to,and more hipper.it seems that the lite and TV seems to bother him sometimes.I sent his doctor and e-mail yesterday and waiting to talk to her about things.
