My son was diagnosed 3 years ago with Left Temporal Lobe Seizures. He has had two EEG's and several MRI's in this time frame. His academic performance is highly affected by his condition. He is currently failing most of his classes. He is unable to effectively retain the information taught in class on a regular basis. Sometimes he recalls the information at a later date (when it is too late). I have collaborated with the school administration, counselor and teachers frequently. He has been placed in a CTT class. However, he is still failing.
Does anyone have any solutions for how he may be able to live effectively and prosper academically?
