Maybe this is a question many don't want answered, but I think I want to know. I began having seizures at 39. Do people with seizures have problems when they become elderly? Will I have problems with dementia or other because I have problems with my brain now?
Just wondering... Spent the day with my grandmother who has dementia :(
I wish I could tell you what will happen to you in your future, but I don't know. It is possible that you will get dementia, but it would depend on what started giving you seizures in the first place. We are just people who care about talking to others we are not doctors. If you are truly concerned about this I suggest you talk to your doctor about this. He/ she will know you better than strangers on the internet.
