CMV acute infection similar to hiv ars?

Hey guys..I had unprotected sex with a girl of unknown status( i know a stupid mistake) Approximately 1 month later I came down with a mild fever and night sweats for about a week. I was extremely worried at the time that I may have become infected so I got an HIV test at the 6 month mark and was negative. I read that in young adults CMV can bring about mild fevers, sore throat night sweats etc. I was wondering the time period from infection to when you would see symptoms of primary CMV.
