Chronic mono?

I have had two positive ebv tests in the past year and a half and several other times when I felt like I had it but didn't bother to get tested because well you can't do anything about it. I did not know that most people can only get EBV once. Now I am wondering if these strange exhaustion episodes I have been having could be due to chronic EBV. I already have fibromyalgia so fatigue and body pain are nothing new but about 8 months ago I had this really sudden episode of utter exhaustion. I literally fell asleep and was awake for maybe a total of 12 hours over the next three days. This is very abnormal for me. I also had had a problem with a sensation on my skin like I had been bruised and then sunburned which was very painful. I had only gotten it occasionally over the years and usually only on my back. No one knows what it is. when the exhaustion episodes started it spread to literally my whole body except palms of my hands and soles of my feet and was 50 times worse. My doctor thought the episodes were due to allergy so I started taking two diffferent allergy pills and using an inhaler because I also get shortness of breath with these episodes (a symptom I also had when I had EBV) The episodes disapeared until Dec. 26th when they came back with a vengence. Someone please help. I am in college and all I want is to get through it. I have friends having to wake me up in class and I am missing classes. This episode is just beginning to let up and its been 5 days. I cannot sleep through 5 days of classes a month. Could this just be a mix of chronic EBV and firbromyalgia? If so is there anything, anything at all that I can do about it?

My son has been down with mono for two months and is just now back at school. His doctor has him taking
Omega-3/1000mg (fish oil) and vitamin D-3 as well as his multi-vitamins. Good luck.

I would suggest talking supplements, such as vitamin c and maybe a multi vitamin because the best defense against mono is a good offense by improving your immune system, I have tested positive for the ebv test twice in the past two months and my Dr. said it was clearly two different instance by the levels. Best of luck too you =)
