EBV advice appreciated.

If my memory serves I recall having glandular fever years ago, at school so maybe 12 or so years. I can remember another occurrence that kept me in bed for two days around 4 years ago.

Since then around a year ago I experienced some ongoing symptoms that may or may not be linked to a reactivation. I was suffering from extreme stress and anxiety (worst in my life) when things started. Whilst EBV never crossed my mind.

Could this be a reactivation?

Symptoms in rough order

First few months

Flushing whilst drinking alcohol (twice)
Swollen lymph node behind one ear lobe for around 3 weeks
General tiredness
No fever of any sort around this time
Mild Folliculitis
Bouts of Diarrhea (random sometimes drink related, sometime not)
Muscle cramps in backs of thighs (especially while driving)

After 3 months

Easy brusing
Pin dots on arms and chest

Ongoing since then

Occasional tight chest / shortness of breath
Dull aches in testicles

Last few months

Muscle twitches all over body. Very noticeable throughout day, literally everywhere.
Vibrating sensation in legs especially in bed.
Geographic tongue / glossitis in same place, slightly different shape but intermittent.
Dentist said wasn't thrush
Sever chest pains at work when stressed one day.

I realise some things could be unrelated or just stress. Some symptoms are real, the lymph nide, twitches and vibrating legs. I don't know the first thing about EBV, can anyone relate?

People used to think I was lazy as everyday I'd get home from work at 3pm and sleep until 5pm a few years ago, I'm wondering if that was related.

Thank you for anything you can help with.

Thanks for the advice, it is much appreciated. So you believe vitamins really work well? I have to say I'm willing to try anything. I take Vit B12 and Magnesium so will look at the others too

Diet is something I've started addressing, although I play sport it was constant takeaways, chocolate and nothing good, already after 10 days I feel better generally.

I know exactly how you feel.   The doctors have no answers...they told me to rest more but I tried and found a solution that work for me for most of the symptoms.  I posted this before so here it goes...
your immune system is compromised.  In order to feel better you have to eliminate some of the symptoms....the way to do it is to boost your immune system.  I felt like a zombie for years till I started taking the combination of vitamins and minerals...Vitamin A, B complex, C, E, Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium, CoQ10. Consult your doctor before going on these supplements to see if you are allergic.  I bought each separate and took them and I was able to run again and go to the gym within a week.  The supplements chipped it in for me by day 4.  Also keeping hydrated is very important.
This worked for me and gave me back my life...hope it works for you...let me know.  Also you have to pay attention to your nutrition...cut down or cut out the fried and high sugar foods.  Obviously we have to take better care of ourselves than the average person...it's a full time job.  You have nothing to loose...for your benefit give it a try...also I am going to do Yoga for extra stress release.
The Vitamins and Minerals gave me the resistance so I could be back to 85% of myself before infection.  Let me know.
