Hi. I really would appreciate some help. Basically, my story is VERY long and won't bore you with it all, but in summary:
I was sure I got genital and oral herpes from a new sex partner.
Genital symptoms= vaginal discharge, large swelling, sever itching, pain, developed polyps, open lesions, VERY VERY BAD
Oral = raw red peeling patches on lips, extremely sore throat, polyps under tongue, lip blister but didn't burst just shrank down,
Body = feverish, sweats and chills, hot sunburn like rash on buttocks thighs and face, got chest infection like symptoms, pain in chest and shortness of breath, aching body, nodes in groin and neck up, very very sick in general
It all cleared in 3 weeks, but has all recurred very very often for last 8 months. Only things that don't happen now are chest infection type stuff, sunburn like rash (but feeling of burning skin does), lip blister, extremely sore throat seems to have stopped recurring too.
But after 4 months I tested negative on herpes blood tests. I am still convinced I have herpes, but looking for other options as it has been mentioned that ebv can cause similar symptoms. So does anyone have any input in my situation? Anything at all would be great. Thanks.
Possibly an Infectious Mycoplasma infection such as Mycoplasma Fermentans Incognitus or Mycoplasma Genitalium. Research www (dot) IMMED (dot) org or a possible Lymes and coinfection w/ babesia& Bartonella. Your symptoms are like mine.
