Early convalescence, reactivated infection

For the past 5 years I have been going through a cycle once a year that no dr. seems to be able to help me with. It started one fall with a really bad flu type illness, then I got muscle twitching, extremely fatigued muscles, and just generally ill feeling. My AST and ALT's became elevated during the illness, but returned to normal, Hep c negative, mono negative. The only thing I tested positive for was a RECENT epstein barr infection all ebv panel antibodies were positive. Since then every year around September I get what feels like a head cold or even allergies, then it progresses into the muscle twitching, spine pain, fatigue, dizziness, exercise intolerance- I can't even walk my dog. Every year when I pursade my doctor (I've switched several times due to insurance) to test the ebv panel it ALWAYS comes back positive for a CURRENT infection. I go through until about May feeling like I'm going to die, then it starts to ease up in the spring/summer. I live in California, so I know it's not seasonal affective disorder, it's still 90 degrees and sunny in September. How do I get a doctor to go further with the EBV diagnosis and referr me to a specialist of some kind? OR am I really just crazy?

I am in a similar situation. I am 23 and had mono when I was 15. This week my doctor looked over my CBC test and said my blood work looks normal except that I have mono...AGAIN! What in the heck...I thought it couldn't come back? Is my immune system THAT bad? I am so confused. I am also worried it is something more serious like lymphoma cancer because I keep reading lymphoma creates false positive mono tests. Although I have no other symptoms except a tight feeling throat that feels as though I must constantly swallow. I sometimes have nausea but it doesnt last long and I still eat like crazy. I wish I never read that info though. I have anxiety about my health as it is. DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE? COULD LYMPHOMA CREATE FALSE POSITIVE MONO BLOOD TESTS? WHAT SHOULD I DO, GET ANOTHER BLOOD TEST OR A CT SCAN TO RULE OUT SOMETHING MORE SINISTER?
