Mono in a Relationship

Hi,

I currently have mono, according to my symptoms, the opinions of two doctors and blood work as well. I began experiencing symptoms 2 weeks ago tomorrow. I was in close contact with my girlfriend quite often up until 5 days before the first symptoms, because at that point I went away on vacation. Currently I am no longer experiencing any acute symptoms anymore, just lethargy and nausea if I push myself too hard.

My question is: When can I kiss her again??? I mean, I understand I may have given it to her already? And also, how carful in general should I be around her now?

Good question. Unfortunately it is a question that I cannot answer... so I would consider calling your physician and asking him or her. My first thoughts would be on the side of caution.
