my son has been sick for 2 months tired etc. his lab work came back first that he had mono 6 months ago and that he now didn't have it. i got a secound opion, and got the lab work. ebv vca IgG 8.00 H AI, cytomegalovirus IgG 1.11 H index. and was told he currently had mono, but, could not tell when he got it , possibly, a few months ago or so. he could have it the rest of his life. he's 15. i had it at 12 for 1 month. does he have now.? isn't the IgG a present antibodie?could he have chronic/ reactivated epstein - Barr? and if possible, how could i get a doctor to get him diagnoised?
