I have a weird red bump in the middle of my chest---It's just 1 red bump, and it really comes out when I am stressed..I went to a dermatologist to have him check it out, but he doesn't know what it is...So I just assumed it was due to the EBV. I never knew anyone else had this weird thing...

I too have "rashes" for lack of a better term. These will occur randomly during the year. Most often during high stress periods. Though mine are not in the chest area, they occur on my hands and fingers. I will get a little red bump, about the size of an ant bite. It will just be a little sore when it first comes up but then will become itchy as it begins to dry out. There is no pus, just the bump. After the bump vegins to dry, it will begin to peel away in rings (looks like the rings of a tree). After it peels away (outside to inside), it will make a rough patch for about another week. While it is not painful, it is distracting and uncomfortable. Have had since my teens and have one great aunt that has same thing.
While not having formally been diagnosed with EBV syndrome, I have had mono twice and have re-occurring swollen glands, fever of unknown origin, fibromyalgia, CFS since childhoold. Please if you get diagnosis, repost and give the rest of us a clue.
