on the progression of the disease. The meds I've been taking are Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide, Lisinopril, and Metoprolol simultaneously. My blood pressure
is now about 100/60. I'm a runner, non smoker, non drinker, a health freak and am in really good physical shape. My erections are weak though. I was abstinent my whole life until I met my girlfriend about two months ago. We've only had sex
desire is very strong. We've tried about a dozen times now with it ending in humiliating disappointment. I can have an orgasm, just not from penetration because I lose my hard erection quickly. I honestly don't know what my erections used to be like because I never had sex to test them until now. I can't tell if this is anxiety, ed, or the meds. So very frustrating.
I've read about the meds I'm taking and it claims that only two of them have sexual side effects and of those, the effects occur in only about 1% of the population.
And by the way I don't have insurance but if this continues I might have to find the money to see a doctor. Does anybody think the meds could be the problem? The study doctor is not an ED expert I'm sure so I haven't told him yet. I also don't want to get kicked out of the study because it gives me free medicine. Thanks!
You said you can have an orgasm just not from penetration. And you also mention you practice abstinence prior to your new girlfriend.
With that being said, your penis is fine. However, your penis is too use to your hand. Right now, your penis only KNOWS one way to ejaculate. In order to get over this problem, you need to re-condition the way your penis thinks and operates.
In other words, NO MORE MASTURBATION. Try this for a whole month and I guarantee you will see positive results. But this is also going to gradually get better with time so you need to be patient. And also explain this to your girlfriend so she understands.
I know this method will work for you because I use to masturbate and constantly get half hard-ons with a female but since I stop masturbation I no longer have that problem.
