Can't stay hard during sex

by mountainman941, Nov 05, 2009 08:22AM
I am a 43 year guy who has not really had any sex for the past 5 years (maybe twice in the past year) My wife is very frustrated but patient. I pretty much do not even try anymore, she makes advances and I know she wants to be intimate with me but I can't be bothered. I have had problems maintaining an erection in the past and this has upset her because she has thought it was her fault. It is very frustracting to me because I do love her but the past problems make me not want to try. The strange thing is that when she gives me head I can stay rock hard and have multiple orgasms, it is just when I enter her that I go soft. Any suggestions?

Go see a doctor. ED is a multifactorial condition and only a urologist can determine the exact cause of your problem and prescribe an effective treatment. Your problem may be purely psychological (e.g. coital anxiety) but even if it is 'just in the head' your urologist will be able to help you.
