Cialis Use, not sure whats going on

Hi, a few months ago i started having erection problems, i went to my GP who prescribed cialis.

The first few weeks i seemed a lot better, but now the problem seems to have returned despite using maximum dosage.

Thing is though i dont understand what the problem is, the doc didnt ask a lot of questions, didnt examine me etc just gave me the prescription.

I dont masturbate often, but when i wake up early (6 am) then about 60% of the time i wake up rock hard and it takes a while to go down even though im not remotely aroused!, thats wether i have taken cialis or not. Its when i come to perform with my partner that ive had problems in the past (about fifty percent of the time)

Anyone got any idea whats going on?

Cialis is very effective but it's not a wonder drug. It works only locally and does nothing to improve libido or sexual arousal. If you're feeling anxious or depressed or if you're simply not in the mood, it probably won't work.

I suggest you consult your doctor again and tell him about this. You may want to try another PDE-5 inhibitor (Viagra or Levitra). Everyone is different and reactions to these drugs vary a lot.

cialis only works when you're sexually excited in the brain. if you're worrying about the situation, it will not work. also, cialis brings side effects. if you're taking the highest dosage, you're probably getting headaches or some sort of side effect that may be annoying you while you're trying to get into the mood and make the medicine work. if that's the case get a smaller dosage from your doctor.
