I took my first 5mg dose of Cialis today, really didn't feel much of anything on it. I still have some performance anxiety, and I did get hard a couple of times on it, but nothing major like I was expecting. Haven't felt much all day. I take Xanax for anxiety, and also Metoprolol for tachycardia.
I get nervous when I anticipate sexual activity because of fear of not being able to perform. I also have some ED issues.
Question..I'm on a 30-day trial of 5mg a day of cialis. Since I won't be having sex every day, can I just skip taking 5mg daily, and instead next time I anticipate sex, take two 5mg tablets so 10mg total? Maybe that would give me more of a boost? I spoke with the pharmacist, and she said that was fine, since 10mg is prescribed as an as-needed dose anyway.
Another consideration is that I want to make this supply last as long as possible, since it's only a free trial.
Someone told me that it might take a few days for the 5mg a day dosage to kick in fully..But can't I just take 10mg as-needed or 5mg in morning and 5mg in evening before sex?
