Does masturbation cause nerve damage?

I've been masturbating for a few years. I do it almost everyday. I just realized I have problem getting erections when I went to parties. I felt embarressed when I danced with hot girls and they couldn't feel my penis because it was soft. It does get erections when I watch porn and I do it with my hands.
So, my question is why my penis is not getting hard when it suppose to be when I feel the girl's body?
