I'm 33 y.o., I have a similar problem (coital anxiety) and I've been taking Cialis for over a year. It's very effective but it's not an anxiety drug and it doesn't improve libido. Vigamed (oral phentolamine), a new ED drug, is different: it blocks alpha receptors in the penis and inhibits the negative effects of stress hormones. Vigamed is not available in the US but you can order it online: vasomaxclinic.com I also take SEREDYN to control my anxiety and sometimes STABLON when I'm feeling depressed. It's a lot of stuff but it works.
You said your doctor prescribed Cialis. All three PDE-5 inhibitors (Viagra, Cialis, Levitra) are very effective but everyone is different and reactions vary greatly. I suggest you try all three and see which one works best for you. You should always consult your doctor first, though. Have you seen a urologist already? Did you do any tests to determine if there's some underlying organic cause that you're not aware of? Maybe you should seek a second opinion. Good luck!
