Erection Problems

I'm 17 and have a girlfriend, every time that i try to have sex with her i can get an erection quite easily, but if i manage to get it iin her, i get soft after only a few minutes.  Just about everythng i've tried, i simply cant keep it up.  I was able to ejaculate during oral sex once with an ex, but i had the same problem with her for the most part.

When i masterbate i will have trouble staying hard and if i think about other penises it arouses me.  But i do not think i am gay.  The concept of two men kissing grosses me.  I don't even consider men when i am not masterbating (masturbating).  I check out girls.  I get aroused by fingering my girlfriend, just not for long...

Is this a question of sexuality? or phycological? Or should i just see a doctor?  Currently I drink maybe once every week or two, nothing heavy.  And smoke weed no more than twice a year.  With my ex i did not do either of these for well over 3 months and still had this problem.  Any help/advice greatly appreciated

At your age it's unlikely that your problem is physical. Most likely it's psychological. The easy way to tell is the strength of your spontaneous erections, your "morning wood", for example. (An old way to test if impotence was physical or psychological was to wrap a strip of connected postage stamps around the flacid penis before bed. If you woke and the stamps were torn, you had a normal erection while sleeping. Obviously this wasn't too reliable as many things could cause the stamps to tear).

Many straight guys fantasize about other guys while masturbating. It has more to do with being stimulated by anything sexual rather than sexual orientation.

Alcohol and weed can cause erectile problems, but your habits aren't excessive. (Although drinking any amount at your age isn't such a great idea for other reasons).

It sounds like you might have some issues with sex that can be explored by a therapist. If this problem is such that it is interfering with your normal sex life it might be worth exploring.
