I am 40 years old with a free testosterone reading of 9.9. is this the cause of my ED? I also have no nightime or morning erections. If so what are my options for treatment?
The normal level of testosterone in your bloodstream is between 350 and 1,000 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dl) but only your doctor can say what's right for you. Medications for low testosterone include oral, intramuscular and transdermal agents but I suggest you try a natural approach first: DHEA, vitamins C,D,B and E and fish oil.
Furthermore, ED is a multifactorial condition and there could be other conditions (e.g. high blood pressure
, heart disease) involved in your case, not just testosterone. If you haven't seen a urologist, I suggest you go see one as soon as possible. Good luck!
