Nerve damage the cause of ED? Please Help!

Hey and thanks for looking.

I recently injured myself, pretty bad, with a penis exercise called jelqing. I ended up with nerve damage along the right side of my penis, which has not healed significantly since the injury 4 weeks ago. It may not be healing because I am a frequent, or rather I masturbate almost everyday once a day.

About 3 weeks after the injury, I was having sex with my girlfriend and all of a sudden I became soft. I did not pay any mind to it because well...it happens to all of us, but then it took a turn for the worst. After that day, every time I penetrate my girlfriend my penis becomes soft within 2-3 minutes.

I suspect this is due to the damaged nerve but on the PE forums, they say it can be a venous leak. This is the most scared/depressed I have EVER been in my life. I am 20 y.o. and have my whole life ahead of me. Now this is my question:
-Can nerves affect erection quality permanently?
-Does nerves in the penis heal?
-Do I have to go without any sexual activities so it can heal properly?
-Will healing my nerves eventually bring my erection quality back to its normal state (before the injury)?
-How long will it take to heal?

Thank you.
-D

To add to this, I have never had a problem with erection quality before I started jelqing. I have always been healthy, non tobacco smoker but an occasional marijuana smoker. I exercise at least 3 times a week. Healthy.
