No erection 2 years after surgery

I had my prostrate removed over two years ago by, I was told, a very qualified and experienced doctor at the Mayo clinic. According to him the nervers are still intact but I am not able to get an erection. Either he is lying or not telling me the whole truth. I had no problems before the surgery but now can not even get a partial erection. Is ther any help?
