Odor on Head of Penis

For the past year or so I have had an odor on the head of my penis that may last a day or two and then come back a week or two later or maybe a month or two later.  There is no pattern to anything I am eating, drinking or any medications I may be taking.  The penis is very clean and soap and water does not make the smell go away.  The smell is not in my urine or semen and I have no bumps or discoloration on my penis.  The base of the penis and the scrodum area do not have the odor.  Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Hello there---if you are having sex with a woman that has bacterial vaginosis you may have acquired her infection---you need to get a swab stuck into your penis and have a culture done.

BV has a fishy odor in females--does yours have a fishy odor??--anyway you should have a urineanalysis done atleast--just go to your family doc and get this check out willya??
