Purple spots

37y old male, uncircumcised.
About 10 years ago I have started using an elastic rubber band around the stem of the shaft for achieving prolonged erections and more thickness. I always take off the rubber band after intercourse or masturbation, which sometimes takes over an hour. Over time, about a year or so ago, I have started seeing light purple spots around my penile skin. As the spots are scattered and they do not look deep purple, and I do not have spots on the glans, I assumed that I may have lightly damaged some veins around the penis. Lately, upon using the elastic bands, I have noticed that the purple spots look more purple while using the band and they take a while o become less noticable after intercourse is over (a few hours hours). Probably resulting from the rubber band usage, I get flaky skin around my foreskin after intercourse or masturbation. Normally the purple spots are noticable when you look closely, only slightly darker spots can be seen during normal times, when no sexual activity is involved. I have started feeling an itch near the top of my foreskin), and sometimes I feel that area is colder than the rest of my penis. How can I overcome the situation?
Thanks very much.

Hi Tenpin
As men we get one life and one d**k, get it wrong we either lose our lives or we lose our d**ks, and a man ain't much of a man with no d**k, I do hope you get the picture.

Wow, a little tough love, nohard, huh?

Although...

In general I agree, the rubberbands are a tourniquet and should never be in place more than a half an hour (similiar to the bands on pumps).  I would recommend laying off the bands all together until you heal, then using your head about using them.

What your doing to youself is not good, extended erections, are not good and can cause a serious problems, so after 10 years its about time to stop, I think you will find that the spots are blood vessels breaking, its a similar to what you can get from jelqing and if you do they tell you to stop. Look if you want a bigger penis then try jelqing, do it the real mens way, theres a start up page on pegym and take it from there, but if was you I would just throw it away the rubber band, and dont get a new one and at 37 grow up.
