Testosterone Test Results Question

Hey All,

Quick question. So after experiencing a bout of some erectile difficulties, I stopped my daily marijuana smoking habit completely, and drastically cut back on my masturbation (especially since I'm having sex on nearly a daily basis 1-2 per day).

I went to the doctor who took some blood and analyzed my testosterone levels. He said everything came back normal however, he shared with me a copy of the report which said the average testosterone levels for a man my age range from 2.8 - 8.0 ng/mL. My test came back saying my total testosterone count was 3.27 ng/mL.

While this may indeed be normal my concern is it's still somewhat on the low side no? Or could this just have been the results from this one particular test and not necessarily reflect my overall testosterone count. AKA, do testosterone levels tend to vary/fluctuate often? I just would've assumed with me working out on a daily basis (sometimes twice per day) my levels would be much higher (closer to 8 ng/mL). Also, can testosterone levels be decreased as a result of too much sex or masturbation? Just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about as I realize these levels tend to decrease even more with age and I'd like to stay potent and very sexually driven for the duration of my life. Thanks. in advance.
