i think my boyfriends medications are distroying our sex life

My boyfriend has been taking doxycycline hyclate for about 3 months orignally for a rash he was getting on his eye lids and face. A month in he got what the doctors thought could be shingles and gave him a script for Valtrex. For the past 3 months his penis has been very sensitive and he couldnt last more then a few minutes during sex. After he added the Valtrex to the mix he cant even last a few minutes at all!  We never had these problem before he started taking these medications. Is this a side effect of the medications? Is it common?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Medications such as blood pressure medications (especially beta-blockers), heart medications (such as digoxin), some peptic ulcer medications, sleeping pills, and antidepressants may also cause erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction is not a reported side effect of Valtrex.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I'm sure it is from the medication. Tell him he needs to tell his doctor about this.
