please help me im flipping out

I have a question that needs an answer...i have not had sex in over a year and i met my new bf we had sex before but one particular night unfortunatly we had unprotected sex on my period the next day he was complaining about a rash on the shaft of his penis..i know for a fact im clean and he is too this has never happened before keep in mind that i also think i had a slight UTI. His rash has been there for a month he has no discharge and its not itchy... he said at one point it was moist and had a weird smell. i am showing no signs of nething my vagina feels and looks normal i have gone to the gyno before him and while i was with him. i would assume she would have found something wrong. he usually uses condoms but we didnt. last night he used epsonsalt on it and he said that it looks like its starting to heal. the rash is on the base and shaft of his penis. Im thinking it could be a yeast infection but not sure...PLEASE HELP!

You are a nice girlfriend, but his rash is his problem primarily and your problem only secondarily.  Why is he sitting around for a whole month with a rash on his penis and not going to a doctor?  It could be anything, and not from you, despite it arising at a time when you two had had sex.  Tell him you'll make him an appointment and take him to the doctor, if he can't get himself to go alone.

I'm in agreement with Annie.. Get that boy to a doctor!  Who it came from is a moot point.  He's got a rash that isn't going away.  He should have gone a long time ago.
