porn/masturbation & impotence??

im 20 years old and been masturbating to porn since i was 15. as of the last few months i noticed my erections are not very firm, lets say 70% peak. over the last year ive been masturbating multiple times a day. at least 3, to porn.

i want to get firm erections again. my plan is to go 30 days without masturbation or porn (no easy task).

im wondering are there any guys that were able to kick the porn/masturbation habit for about a month and notice an increase in erection firmness? especially in the morning? my morning erections are weak or not there.

im taking this one month thing seriously now. the best ive done is 5 days. so you can message me if you want to talk about this or post here.

Just wondering how the 30 days went. Did your libido/strong erections return? I'm also just about 10 days into the 30 days and haven't noticed that much change...yet.

Any wisdom on your experience?

I will recite all that I have accumulate as knowledge through reading some books and some internet’s articles and forums in a nutshell

Stop watching all kinds of porn
Above all, one must know that sex is produced inside the mind of person and not in his sexual organism. Therefore, Porn deforms the normal idea that human has about sex in his head. Sex must be sensual more than the involvement of any other senses. When we watch too much porn, those natural information which are instinctively stored in our minds became more related to vision than to sense.  I will explain further. Everyone knows that watching porn creates excitement; that’s why many people use it as a prerequisite before passing to the real act. Here lies its danger that the viewer becomes more and more, and over the time, dependant on porn (on vision) to create the needed excitement for being normally aroused to the point that he or she can no longer get aroused or excited by her or his partner. Another concrete evidence of this, if you watch a porn movie, that you like so much, for the first you’ll get excited, of course, but less than if you watch it for a second and so forth if you watch it for the third time…..every time you get less excited than the previous one until it induces nothing in you in the end. So, you will need another movie more “hard core” than that one ….ultimately you will become frigid. The conclusion is that porn is like a drug because it makes you addict to it and each time you use it you need to overdose to the extent that a normal woman can’t excite you in the end and, accordingly, you will be not able to erect.

Masturbation is more harmful than any other thing

Drugs and alcohol
Drugs and alcohol (have substances which) stimulate dopamine receptors; hence the pleasurable feelings you get from them, and over the time, desensitize your brain to its own dopamine so that you get more of it to get the same effect. Heavy drinking can eventually harm your nerves, decrease sensitivity. Alcohol also kills nearly 20% of hormone testosterone and reduces your fertility levels with up to 50% by decreasing the sperm count and increasing the production of abnormal sperm.

Quit Smoking
Men who smoke are 50 percent more likely to suffer from impotence than men who do not smoke.
Cigarettes contain nearly 4600chemicals including 43 known cancer-causing (carcinogenic) compounds and 400 other toxins. These include nicotine, tar, and carbon monoxide, as well as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen cyanide, arsenic, and DDT. Nicotine acts as a vasoconstrictor. That is, it constricts the arteries and blood vessels—including those that are responsible for a man's erection. Nicotine also lowers testosterone and other hormone levels in the blood. And it increases the concentrations of fatty acids in the blood, leading to clogged arteries and further restricting blood flow to the genitals. Smoking injures the ability of blood vessels to respond to sexual stimuli. Normally blood vessels release a substance known as nitric oxide during sexual stimulation, resulting in the opening of the floodgates. Smokers release less nitric oxide and the blood vessels open less readily, resulting in a flaccid erection. It is still unknown whether nicotine or other products of cigarette smoke cause all the effects related to vascular damage. Cigarette smoking can also affect male fertility: smoking reduces the quality of semen.

Doooooooooo sport
Studies have come up with the fact that exercising (sport) increases both the level of dopamine and the number of its receptors in the brain which lead to more pleasure. Release and strengthen the circulation of blood in the body which means more blood enters inside the penis to make you have optimal erection. Never stop exercising sport.
Exercise Kegels: to perform kegels you clench the pc muscles in the same way you would stop the urine midstream for 3 seconds (relax and repeat many times 10 to 15 times a day)
Yoga can improve sexual stamina, an exercise called Bow Rose. To exercise this technique, you first lie on your stomach, bend your knees and bring your heals up towards the backside, grape a hold of your ankles, make sure that you rest on your stomach, the pull your ankles with your hands to raise your knees off the floor. Repeat this exercise as many as you like)
Exercise the technique of “Pumping the prostate”.
Learn the techniques of “Tantra”

Foreplaying
Learn techniques to prolong the foreplaying to make your partner fully aroused (studies showed that woman needs approximately 20 minutes to get totally aroused while man needs only 1 or 2 minutes). So don’t leave a part of her body without a touch. After finishing the foreplaying and just before insertion, take hold of your penis and rub its head with her clitoris many times and a long as possible without insertion.

Food
Eat very well (all kinds of vitamin B, Zinc, phosphor, Vitamin A, oxide nitric...)..
Try to reduce consuming caffeine
Never use boosting drugs like Viagra they will only harm you and abuse your energy

psycho
Psychologically speaking, you need to have some kind of distraction and avoid stress and depression because they substitute the libido and destroy hormone testosterone.
Sleep enough.
“Sex without love is no more than a masturbation”.  Get married soon with a woman that you love, because love can create miracles.
Be patient and give your body time to recuperate what you ruined during years.
Pray Allah

ED caused by porn is not psychological, it is structural and biochemical.

Internet porn can become an addiction, and with all addictions the brain changes, or adapts. It does not matter if the addiction is to a substance or whether it is a behavioral addiction, the same brain changes result.

Today's internet porn is nothing at all like our ancestors ever encountered, with the constant novelty and genres of extreme porn. Unlike yesterday's Playboy, Internet porn overstimulates the brain structures responsible for libido and addiction.

Brain changes include a drop in dopamine receptors in the reward circuitry. Reducing the amount of dopamine receptors decreases your pleasure response to "normal" stimuli. In other words, real-life sexual partners and previous porn won't get your brain going
enough to get your penis going. Turning on dopamine receptors is how you get turned on.

Here are two well done presentations by a science teacher on the effects of pornography on the brain. They are non-religious, non-judgmental, and science based.
