this is the hugest sex problem that unfortunately noone is really taking seriously.  porn has changed everything.  I too, use it as a quick fix but am no longer enjoying a sexual relationship with my boyfriend.  we live in different states and had plans to marry, very much in love...even with the distance and only seeing each other maybe 3 times per year, we may only actually have sex once while he is visiting for a week or less.  I am devasted..we speak everyday and I dont even bring it up anymore as Im at a loss.  I am extremely sexual and open and I know how to satisfy.  I am willing to include toys, even porn and have no hangups whatsoever.  he probably doesnt even know this because of it being such a touchy subject.  I have tho, mentioned to him how much I want him and try to be sensitive...I have come to the conclusion however, that it is porn/masterbation that he prefers over me.  how can i compete, porn is so convenient, 24 hours per day, constant variety and no effort, compromise needed.  i predict that this addiction will be societys downfall in countless ways and trust and believe that it wont be far off either.  it is more widespread than any of the statistics and it is a sad thing.  not a prude, but addiction is addiction no matter the drug of choice.  unfortunatly, today, its almost impossible not to go directly to porn to get the juices flowing both men and women, and while moderation is great, even healthy...with no boundaries and easy access, it truly is hopeless.  we simply must realize that our reality is this and hang on and hope for the best.  my main point is this, i have nothing to look forward to in the area of companionship or marraige or even a boyfriend unless i want a hookup.  there is no longer the intimacy, the trust, the deep level of love that comes from not only giving up gratutious excess, but in focusing on a partner that will take us into our twighlight years and literally when things like a quick fix wont matter as much as they may today.  I forsee a lot of lonliness, suicide and financial ruin for our decadence in the world of immediate gratification NOW!  I cant believe that life has spiraled so out of control, and all the babble of counseling, doctor, medication is ******** on top of ********....really? its free, its immediate its orgasm and its changing the dynamics  of our brains, and our children and mainly ourselves.  I hate to wake up oneday and decide I dont feel much like watching a robot like deadeyed bimbo stick a baseball bat up her rectum and yearn for a good old fasioned walk in the evening with some wine and conversation that may just maybe, make me feel special, and well, alive.   it will be too late, for us, our future generations and in my opionion, its quite sad.
