Hello everyone, new to the forums here and i joined so i could ask some questions and get advice. My aunt recently got diagnosed as having very early and minor barrets esophagus. I've done some research on the subject and am of the understanding that her risk of developing cancer is very low. However the Doctor recommended she undergo radio frequency ablation to remove metaplasia. My question is, can anyone recommend a good Doctor/Hospital to perform this procedure. There are no concerns as to location, money, etc. My uncle just wants the best Doctor possible to perform this procedure. Can anyone offer any recommendations? Also, any information on possible side effects or risks associated with radio frequency ablation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
