barretts esphogest

Hello Mostly I could use some support about 5 years ago I was scoped and my doctor told me that I didn't have cancer and to to aciphex and sent me on my way. Well 5 years later I go to my new doctor and she asked me why I'm taking this medicine and I explained that I have Barret's. She then in formed me that means I have pre cancer cells and should have been watched every year. So I freaked out  I'm worried sick and they are trying to setup a emergency scope for me today. I also have post tramic syndrome and panic attacks all caused from me waking up during surgery twice now . I'm so afraid and alone I can not stop crying and  could really use some friends right now. HElp me please.

Take some deep breaths and relax; don't focus on what should have been done, but now.  
Just try.  

It is possible this Barrett's might have been stable for the last 5 years.

Get the emergency scope and go from there.
