WHY CANT I LOSE WEIGHT?

WHY CANT I LOSE WEIGHT?

Hi im 16 im 1.5metres tall and i weigh 82.2kgs. For the last 3 months iv been trying to get back to my normal weight of 50 to 55kgs but nothing seems to work. I got to the gym 4 days a week, do 30 second intervals on the tredmill for 45 minutes, then do weight training. i use the leg press and lat pulldown (3 sets on each of 25kgs, 12 reps), pec fly(3 sets of 19kgs, 12 reps), back extension (3sets of 12), bicep curl (3 sets of 20kgs 12 reps), tricep pushdown(3 sets of 5kgs, 12 reps), shoulder press (3 sets of 10kgs, 12 reps) and the leg extension(3 sets of 19kgs, 12 reps). and then i do 3 sets of 12, side crunches, leg raises and crunches (As my body adapts i lift heavier weights and do more cardio). Also i go to zumba classes once a week. i have 2 rest days (tuesday and saturday). I eat a healthy diet, mostly fruit and veg and i eat plenty of protein and lean meat, I make sure all visible fat is off everything i eat. Since starting this iv mantained the same weight and its really frustrating.

Someone please help me..

Hi there!

If you are aiming at losing weight, it is important to calculate your current BMI and the target BMI. The target BMI should be in a healthy range. The key is to follow a healthy diet plan with a balanced amount of physical activity. A healthy diet should consist of adequate calories according to ones height, weight and physical activity; with adequate amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, little fat and plenty of fruits and vegetables to supply vitamins and minerals. Start with a healthy breakfast, moderate lunch and light dinner. Also keep a track of calorie intake and your work out. As far as the physical exercises are concerned best results can be obtained with rotating between various activities like gymming, running/ jogging, yoga, pilates, aerobics, biking, swimming etc. If by following these methods you still have difficult losing weight, you may consider seeing a doctor top rule out issues like hormonal or endocrine disturbances.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
