9 betamethasone treatments for preterm birth in 90's weight loss impossible...

The only time I have been able to lose weight since the nine steroid treatments in 1993 has been to cut calories to a very unhealthy amount say 100-300 K cal per day and work out.  As soon as I resume a healthy diet the weight just comes back.  My Thyroid levels are fine but 25 mg of benadryl foiled a hystamine test for over ten days.  Is there something to boost my metabolism or "reset" my normal weight.  I used to be able to eat what I wanted and stayed at 110 to 120 lbs @ 5' 2" now I range 178 to 185 with careful watch of my intake & exercise. I do not have DM. I know that protocol has changed with reguard to the use of betamethasone but what can I do reduce my weight safely and reduce the health risks of obesity. I have tried everything but weight loss drugs as I question the saftey of such. Thank you for your time and help, Sarriah
