After Effects of Tumor Removal

by ANNAKRUGER, Jul 04, 2009 11:56PM
I had a malignant encased tumor removed from my stomach just over a year ago.  Before my diagnosis I felt like I was falling apart...literally.  My teeth were loose and my dentist and I were considering false teeth.  My fingernails were weak and breaking off.  My hair was dull and skin was dry.  I had dangerous looking moles on my skin.  But once my tumor was removed my teeth are strong and firm, my fingernails are strong and long, my hair is full and healthy and my skin is fresh and moist.  My moles have disappeared. I am not complaining but my doctors don't seem interested and do not want to or can't give me an answer why this has happened.  I am 65 and feel like 40!  Could all of this be a positive emotional reaction after facing death or is there another explanation?  Anna
