Am i ill?

Am i ill?

Here goes.. About a year ago i weighed 8stone10lbs which i was happy with. I started dating a guy and as it goes i put on weight, Alot! So now i am 10 stone 6lb.. Which i am defo not happy with!!! Now last year when i said i was 8s10lbs i lost that weighed by hardly eating anything ( i know all the usual things people say that by not eating u dont lose weight which is rubbish because i have done it that way twice before). Now for the past month i done the same hardly eating and going to the gym Mon-Fri, Some classes in there to. I can't seem to shift 1lb? Is there something wrong with me now? Do i have thyroid problems? Anything wrong with me? I just can't get my head around it. HELPPPPPPPPPPP...

First thing you have to see your doctor and have an exam to know if it's your Thyroid or something else. as for dating the guy that's what happens when you're happy and content

When your body stops getting food it goes into a starvation mode and saves fat. The weight you will lose (not much) will be mostly water and muscle tissue. This is bad because not only will you have to start eating again but since you now have less muscle, and therefore a slower metabolism as opposed to when you began fasting, you will gain even more fat on top of the fat that your body stored while you fasted. The only time your body will start burning fat when you are not eating and I mean noticeable amounts is when it can no longer burn muscle proteins as a fuel source --By the time that happens you're close to death.

Hi thanks for getting back to me. Now i hear what your sayin with the starvation mode thing and the comfotable eating with the new fella but i have ate 2 meals per day. I had breakfast and dinner! The only reason i find this odd is because i did the same thing last year and lost lots of weight that was even not going to the gym! I just find it really strange that iv done it before and can't seem to do it again? i keep getting really frustrated and upset. I know i might be imagining things but i just can't get my head around it.

Hello!

With increase in your age you need lesser calories.

You sure will lose weight if you do not eat, but is it healthy? No not at all.

You will require your daily quota of carbohydrates and also minerals and vitamins regularly so eat healthy to stay away from any nutritional issues.

You have to concentrate on cardio to lose weight. You have to try swimming, cycling, running, jogging, treadmill or elliptical for one hour every day to lose weight.

Take care!
