Baby weight !

by lyangel, Jan 26, 2006 12:00AM
I am 23 and had my first baby 6 months ago. Everybody told me that if I breastfeed my son I would lose my weight much faster. Well, I'm breastfeeding and hasn't loss any weight. The weight I did lose was at the hospital after the birth of my son-20 pounds. Before I got pregnant I was 165, now I'm 218...5'7 1/2. I've been doing pilates, bootcamp, dieting, walking and no results.I need advice on other ways to lose this weight. I'm starting to believe my only other option is lipo-but, I want to lose this weight naturally and safely. Please, please help me! Summer is around the corner.

I was about your age when I had my son.  I also gained tons of weight.  I lost it by eating what I normally ate, but less of it, and I never ate after 3:00 in the afternoon.  Doing this is not easy, and probably would never be recommended by a physician, but it works.  I lost 65 pounds in six months.  Once the weight is off, just continue to eat portion-controlled meals to keep it off.  It's not about dieting; it's about eating sensibly.
