What is the best way to loose stomach fat. My BMI is around 45%-50%. My largest area of fat is in my stomach, abdomen area. I have fat elsewhere but not as bad as my stomach area.
Any suggestions regarding diet and exercise will be appreciated.
The rule is: if you burn off more than you take in, you will lose weight. 3,500 calories make up 1 pound f.y.i.
Work yourself into an exercise program gradually. If you have certain health factors, you should contact your physician before beginning an exercise and diet program. If you have money to spend, nutritionists and dieticians as well as personal trainers can help you lose weight and become healthier.
To keep fat off, you must maintain a healthy diet and exercise program once you have met your weight-loss goals. Being successful in this endeavor is a life-long commitment and requires a change of lifestyle. Quickly losing weight and then gaining it back quickly is unhealthy and defeats the point of all the hard work you put into achieving your goal. It takes a lot of discipline, but the results are well worth the effort.
Part of the problem is your body is still growing. Some of the fat you retain is necessary for your body to continue to grow. "baby fat" is the term used to describe this. Like willtime said, the best way to lose fat is to eat a healthier diet and exercise. Combining Cardio and Weight Training is very effective. Try routines using a medicine ball, things combining push-ups and squats at a constant pace or lunge jumps with a ball extending over your head are good combos. Building your core is NECESSARY, many people don't realize that your core affects many different workouts, the stronger your core the more efficient the exercise. Always remember balance is key. DO NOT use pills that say "weight loss quick" use everyday vitamins to help boost your metabolism. Products like slimquick can greatly affect the natural way your body functions, some of these products have been known to cause issues with your liver. Remember Natural and Balance. If you are really serious about losing weight, then you will. Remember interval training is better for your heart and often times more effective than standard cardio. With cardio, the better you get the less your body burns, interval training constantly shocks your body (not negatively to cause a heart attack or anything) and readjusts your heart rate so that you will not stay at a stagnant 140-150. This is the best advice I can give, remember losing weight takes time, patience, motivation, and discipline. You may gain strength and stamina in several weeks but not see results for a month or two...don't get frustrated, keep at it.
Regarding Fast Food- There are better tasting things in the world that are way better for you. Your brain- God love cavemen- is intrinsically tuned to desire fatty substances. This is a result of our wonderful forefathers who had to hunt for their food and ate, literally, to survive. You can suppress the desire...but by all means do not avoid fat completely!
I also recommend not getting on the weight loss train of fads and pills.. What may work for someone my harm another and eventually your body will put it back on one way or another..Your body is still trying to adjust to hormones and metabolize. If you mess around with quick fixes now it will be harder to deal with later ..I know people in their 50 and 60's still looking for that magic by going from one fad to another.. just to gain more.. I messed up my metabolism early and I am 50 and struggle even harder. Try to eat good most of the time..You will not be perfect.. know what triggers eating.. do not starve or purge at all for quick fixes!!and MOVE ..find something you like to do and do it till you sweat .. the key is to never stop moving.. drink more water than sodas.. we have to be realistic you will eat things at times not so good but get over it and go on and make a better choice next time.. Hormones will continue to change your body for a while. talk to an Md and not comercials..

The best way to lose stomach fat is to wear a trashbag like a t-shirt cut the arms and neck part out and make sure trashbag is touching your skin. then put a t-shirt or jacket etc on top and walk for 30 mins, or if you like jogging jog dont matter what as long as you moving you sweat more than you normally would and if you do it everyday i gurantee you burn lots of fat
You cannot lose weight at a particular area.
Weight loss is proportional and you would lose weight as you gained. You can recollect from you childhood, teenage and adulthood how you gained your weight.
Cardio, cardio & more cardio combined with decreasing 500cals from the recommended calorie intake for your age . You have to sit with a dietician to spread the calories across your day. 2 meals should be salads, 1 meal fruit, 2 meals can be protein, fibre/complex carbohydrates and minimum fat. Salt restricted diet, sufficient water and motivation and continuity is what you need.
Remember the golden line " You cannot gain weight if you take less than the required calories for your body"
Before starting please check with your doctor all your vitals and get started. Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Take care
a huge reason for losing weight is eating right. 70%of losing weight has to do with with you eat. Dont do diets, just have a healthy life style eating.
Do not forget exercise and cardio.
Diet control and proper eating may land you after a period of time in proper weight, but with cardio and some weights in a continuos way your body circulation improves, you will look toned up, athletic, sprighty and would end up with more confidence.
Always remeber proper diet with some form of exercise should be maintained.
Take care!
i've tried to lose weight by wearing those plastic suits under a sweater and i did lose "weight" but it seemed that it was all water that i lost. I still had fat on my stomach. I really don't recommend using that. Sticking to cardio and weights is the best option.
There is nothing which is a short cut! The belts, surgeries will give you short term gains and also will give you lots of side effects. The best way is cardio, regular exercise, balanced diet & good ergonomics. Take care1
To lose weight fast the best way is to do cardio exercises like running or bike riding 3-4 times a week for at least 30-60 minutes. If you support this with low calorie diet you will see the results pretty soon.
You cannot "spot-reduce" fat--it comes off evenly with genetic factors also playing a role. You will be able to become toned more quickly if you incorporate weight-training into your excercise regimen. Weight-training also helps increase your metabolism which allows you to burn more calories while at rest.
