Calf Bruising and Leg Pain

by Sarah1077, Oct 29, 2007 11:13PM
About six weeks ago I hit my calf, just below the knee, on my nightstand while making my bed.  A bruise immediately formed and was tender to the touch...even now...that the bruise has gone away.  Since then, I have had pain in the area of the bruise which radiates up as far as the top thigh and below where the bruise was in the calf.  There is no redness or fever.  My mother has problems with her legs to include phlebitis and I am nervous that there may be more to this than meets the eye.  It there a possibility I damaged a nerve?
