Chest Muscle Strain

by buff555, Sep 08, 2007 04:01PM
While I practice and hit hundreds of golf balls a week, the other day I was in such a groove on the course I stated to swing and hit the driver much harder. Consequently I pulled the chest muscle under my right rib cage, it hurt so bad it literally took my breath away. What other than rest would you suggest for this injury, ice, heat, massage? How long do you believe it will take to heal? Should I continue to do light streches or just stop completely? Thanks, Buff
