Chest Tightness

Last week I developed a tightness on the ride side of my chest, right under my collar bone, down to my rib cage.  I am able to take small short breaths, but when I go to take a deep breathe or yawn, it is tough.  I had a EKG and x-ray taken and all came back normal, but the symptoms are still there.  I exercise every day with a trainer and they mentioned that it could be a pulled chest muscle.  If it is, how long does it last?  The discomfort is there just sitting at my desk or while I work out, it does not matter.  I took some advil, but that does not do anything.

Any suggestions/advise?
