Since October 2005, I have lost 50 pounds (225 to 175) through exercise and diet.
I have become extremely "cutCuts and puncture wounds." I've lost pretty much all the fat I can spare while maintaining decent muscle mass and tone.
I am extremely satisfied with my results - I feel absolutely fantastic.
My only problem is my abs - Try as I might, I can't get them to look good... I have a well-defined line down the middle, but no six-pack (no horizontal lines)... I'm not storing any fat in that area... it's almost as if my ab muscles are just two cylinders...
What else can I do? I'm working my abs like crazy, hitting the cardio very intensely, and keeping my diet extremely strict... I can't think of anything else to do!
Sadly, 6-pack abs are a heretary trait. If your father or brothers have them, then you can get them. If they do not "run" in the male line, you probably won't get them no matter what you do. Men who can't get those abs will find they have a thin layer of fat over the abs that "hides" the 6-pack look. The fat layer isn't like having fat cells to reduce. it is a permanent layer of fat to buffer and protect the organsOrgan-1 nr of the abdomen. It is not "bad fat", it was there when you were born and will remain there. Sadly without surgery to remove the fat, you will not have the 6-pack.
