Constant pain in the book of my head after working out...

by amorfa2006, Apr 10, 2007 12:00AM
Good day to all,

My name is Alex and im currently 19 years old. During the pass two weeks i have been suffering from a constant pain/discomfort in the back of my head, but only while im working out or after im working out. I was diagnose with Migrane at the age of 10 but i have never had such a pain like this before and i highly doubt that the pain is because of Migrane. This pain comes right when im lifting weights. It is not an extreme pain that i have but it does bother me. I realy don't know what is going on and unfortunetly i don't have the money to go to a doctor; nonetheless, a hospital. The only thing i noticed about my situation is that it happen after i took NO-XPLODE which is an energy drink that has the following:
Vitamin B6: 25mg
(Pyridoxine HCL)
Vitamin B12: 120mcg
(Cyanocobalamine)
Folic Acid: 400mcg
Magnesium: 360mg
Phosphorus: 500mg
Calcium: 75mg. (I don't know if this has anything to do with my situation but after taking NOXPLODE i started pooping green).
The first day i was find but the second day i felt the pain an immediately stop taking it but im still suffering from the pain. Any light on this issue is greatly appreciated it. Thanks for your time.

Talk to your dr about this. It should have gotten better once you stopped the product

The pain in your head has nothing to do with the NO supplements you've been taking.  I've been a strength and conditioning coach for over 15 years and have witnessed the intense pain in the back of your head on several different occasions.  Many who suffer from this claim that it feels like they have been hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat.  Everytime you exert yourself, this pain will come back immediately.  The only thing that makes this go away is time.  To be honest, I'm not even sure what causes this exactly.  After many discussions with doctors (sports medicine, neurologists, GP, etc,) no conclusions have been made.  Just to be safe, take a break from training and when you come back start light.  Also save your money on that NO supplement--they are a waste of time and money!
