Excessive Sweating While Exercising

by DiLynn, Jun 22, 2009 10:15AM
I'm 17 years old and I play high school volleyball and softball. I'm in good health and have nothing known wrong with me. When I excercise though I always seem to sweat a lot more profusely than anyone else I know. I have always a little more than others but have come to notice it more in the last 6 months to year. Yes, many say "oh my gosh, I'm sweating so bad!" and you can't even see it. For me, not true. It'll be running down my face, neck, arms, stomac, back, and legs (literally like running down looking like i just got out or the shower or something and it's running off of me). It can get imbarressing and I was wondering if there is a way to help slow it down some whether maybe it has something to do with eating or something else. Please Help! Thanks! =)

You have more concentration of sweat glands, and it can be familial and nothing to worry. It will work to cool you off. Drink lots of fluids and enought salt to keep you healthy. Take care!
