Fit to mess, in need of repairing

by Delusion, Nov 01, 2009 12:55PM
Ill try to keep this and concise and short as i can apologies for the length.

I am 20 years old and i used to train in kickboxing and mixed martial arts. I was very fit and strong at the time and felt confident you could say.

I suffer from bipolar disorder with exotic little psychotic bits you could say and i am also a recovering alcoholic, About 18 months ago until about 2 months ago i was in the worst low i have ever been in.

I didnt excerise i stayed in the house and barely moved for over a year, i didnt move no excersise what so ever. I also drank myself almost to death in excess of 100+ units of hard spirits a week. I lost a lot of weight i had no muscle and no fat left on my body my muscles were constantly sore and i had internal bleeding.

To put it simply i want to repair and get back to how i was, i need to start eating again, find a diet to allow me to repair all the damage my body has taken and work out how i can excerise this weak and burnt out body to get the old me back.

This seemed like the best forum to post and i will listen to all advice people have to offer.

Thank you

Hello!

Calculate your BMI and plan a suitable diet chart for yourself near a dietician. Quit alcohol and smoking completely.

Have a diet rich in proteins as in eggs, milk, soya, meat, lentils, beans etc with balanced carbohydrates, fat, minerals and vitamins along with physical exercise.

Take care!
