by some5star, Jun 24, 2005 12:00AM
Ok well I am pretty sure I have...Gynecomastia...=-(. And I have recently lost alot of weight and im exercising ALOT. So my question is...how do i get rid of it! I am 15 years old and I have had it since I was 11 and since its been 4 years..I know it isnt going to go away any time soon. And im heading into high school this upcoming school year and I wanna be really fit but I cant because of this problem. Is there any treatment for it BESIDES surgery...this cant be just a puberty thing...

It is very common for males to have breast development in puberty and for the most part it goes away by the age of 15-16. Unfortuenly if it is from a weight problem the only remedy to get rid of the excess skin is surgery.  You may benefit though from doing some weight lifiting at low weight and high reps.
