Yes! but you don't need to wear it at the gym for exercise and it will not prevent a hernia!!

You don't need to wear a supporter at the gym! It won't prevent a hernia.
Your scrotum holds your testicles in place. A hernia occurs when the tissue around the spermatic cord ( that is the cord that carries your sperm) passes through a small hole in the muscular abdominal wall into the belly. when the tissue around the hole is torn. Intestine can pass through the hole, creating a bulge in the groin. That's a hernia! Holding up the scrotum with an athletic supporter does nothing to prevent a tear in the abdominal wall. Once a hernia forms and the belly wall is torn, it will never close by itself. Surgery is the only cure. The supporter is good for a person who does diving it prevents the testicles from twisting. So don't wear the supporter!! If you do wear a supporter for diving make sure you get the correct size a smaller size will cause the testicles to press against the body and cause a low sperm count.
