Hard lump direct above ankle bone

I have a large lump above my right ankle bone, it hurts to press down on it but doesnt hurt any other time. This is an issue for me as i am a figure skater and my boots press on it. do i need infrared to get rid of? is this tendonitis?

Hello!

This can be a lump in the skin or also any superficial infection.

Go for an X-ray to check if it is any bony lump, deformity, past injury or callous. It can also be a muscle or tendon sprain. Check with an orthopedician and take corrective measures.
